The Communications Team works to connect the Colwood Garden Society with the community garden users and the community. Under the supervision and instruction of the CGS Board, they are responsible for notifying garden users of any changes or events, via email, newsletter, garden bulletin board and the website. The team may also be involved in community outreach such as presentations, exhibits, social media and publicity of new community garden.
Time Commitment: Flexible schedule as required
Volunteer Team Tasks include:
- Assist Work Party Team to publicize monthly work parties
- Maintain garden bulletin board
- Work with board to create articles for CGS newsletter and website
- Publish and distribute newsletter
- Update website as needed
- Community outreach through social media
