Overview
This garden is located at Colwood City Hall at 3300 Wishart Road. The Society rents 65 of these 67 plots. Two plots are maintained by volunteers and the harvest is sent to Living Edge in Langford, a market style food bank for those in need.
Renting a Plot
Each renter is responsible for the maintenance of their plot, as well as several volunteer hours a year on different projects within the society, such as administration, maintaining the overall garden, fundraising, etc. The cost for annual rental is $45, plus a one-time membership fee of $10.
